Sayco Tree and Landscape was founded in 1984 by Edward "Ted" Sayce. At that time, Ted had been working in the field of professional tree care in Massachusetts for over fifteen years. He received an associates degree in Arborculture and Park Management in 1972 from the University of Massachusetts - Stockbridge School of Agriculture. He graduated from Norfolk County School of Agriculture with a specialty in forestry.
 Ted has been a Massachusetts Certified Arborist and Member of the Massachusetts Arborist Association since 1975.
In 1985 he passed the exam to become a New Hampshire Certified Arborist.
